    With the participation of many specialists and experts, Asharqia Chamber and Aramco review the opportunities of "the Fourth Industrial Revolution" and its impact on promising enterprises.

     

    Asharqia Chamber in cooperation with Saudi Aramco Company would organize the "Fourth Industrial Revolution and support of Iktifaa program" on Sunday, May 13th 2018 at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam. The program would present the most important investment opportunities offered by this automation and IT revolution and the Saudi Aramco Iktifaa Program that demonstrates the support for small and medium-sized national enterprises to take advantage of these opportunities.

    The chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that this forum seeks to clarify the term of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which emerged following the revolution of communications and information technology in the world. This revolution tends to the management by modern automated and informational methods, and the association of this revolution with industrial activity, and the implications of this transformation and systems of work. This highlights the current and future effects of this revolution, which has affected all of humanity, particularly on the industrial sector.

    Al-Khalidi explained that the forum will provide a detailed definition of all the services and support provided by the program "Iktifaa," which is one of the programs of Saudi Aramco that aims to support local content and raise the level of participation of small and medium enterprises in the localization of industry and services, through providing a large number of investment opportunities in this regard, especially those related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including the energy and oil sectors.

    It will also present the Saudi Aramco's supplier registration mechanism, through an open panel discussion with the company's officials on the adequacy and relevance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its support for small projects in this regard.

    Al-Khalidi expressed his hope that our country will witness many successful projects within the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as the three revolutions witnessed dozens of projects that "we enjoy thanks to God at the present time." He stressed that the future holds a lot in this regard.​
